From the
Airport
- Go to upperlevel outside, take shuttle van to our door
Driving
from south - Take 280N, exit 6th Street.
After crosssing Market St., make a left turn on Turk St.
Go straight for 2 miles then make a left turn on Masonic, then a right turn on Haight St.
Loading zone at door.
Driving
from east
- Cross the bridge, then take the 5th St exit.
Make a left turn at the first light, stay on the right lane.
Make a right turn on 6th St.
After crosssing Market St., make a left turn on Turk St.
Go straight for 2 miles then make a left turn on Masonic, then a right turn on Haight St.
Loading zone at door.
Driving
from north
- Cross Golden Gate bridge hwy 1.
Left on Fulton at Golden Gate
Park (To turn L on Fulton, take R at Cabrillo, immediate L, L
again on Fulton.)
Right on Stanyan, left on Haight.
2 blocks to 1665.
Loading zone at door.
Parking - Four blocks from
Red Vic at Stanyan and Beulah. ($12 for 24 hrs).
A car is
not necessary in the City because Public transport stops near
our door. Buses 71, 7, 43, 6, N Judah tram.
Weather
in San Francisco
- A windbreaker jacket is appropriate summer and winter as winds
often blow off the ocean. Dress for temperate, not tropical climate.
San Francisco is not tropical. Informality and comfort are appropriate
at the Red Vic.
