An important
aspect of Sami’s Peace Art is her passion for honoring the
artistic visions of the world’s people.
The bright appliqué designs of the San Blas Indian women of
Panama are known as molas. They are created by the women as
clothing but have become popular among travelers and art
dealers as works of art in their own right.
In viewing Sami Sunchild’s own highly symbolic and spiritual
work, one resonates with, and celebrates, Cuna Indian
culture.
